The school announced that it would open an investigation after the winter holidays, Het Laatste Nieuws reported. According to the testimonies, the man would have tied several students to chairs. According to another testimony given to VTM Nieuws, he would also have forced a student to do push-ups while he had an arm in plaster. The student in question was also reportedly pulled by the hair across the playground.
“The complaints are serious enough to preemptively suspend the teacher,” said GO8 Education spokesman David Janssens. “As soon as the resumption after the Christmas holidays, an internal investigation will begin at the secondary school of Ninove, but the man will not start working for the moment”, he specified, without giving more details on the facts reported.
