Lawrence Sullivan, nicknamed “the Joker from Florida”, accuses Rockstar Games, the game’s publisher, of having taken inspiration from him for a character, without asking for his consent.

In a video that went viral on TikTok (more than a million views), published following the release of the trailer for GTA VI Lawrence Sullivan directly challenged the game’s publisher.You know they created a character with facial tattoos. Of me !”, he said pointing to his tattoos emblazoned on his face. “Look at me, the Joker from Florida, you know what I’m talking about.” he adds, concluding with a “GTA, we need to talk.” This American became famous on the internet in 2017, following his arrest in 2017 for carrying a concealed weapon, his improbable look (green hair and tattooed face) causing a sensation.
