Honduras wants to resume parliamentary cooperation with Morocco

“We express our willingness to work for the reconstitution of the Parliamentary Friendship Group Honduran-Moroccounder the new legislative mandate, to address bilateral challenges in the phase post-Covid-19and promote cooperation between the two countries,” said the MP in a statement to the MAP.

The MP also highlighted the considerable efforts made by Morocco to help curb the coronavirus pandemic in Africa and to preserve economic balances in the region.

Bermudez also indicated that Honduras offers enormous investment opportunities that can be used to lay the foundations for a partnership with Moroccan operators, particularly in the field of agriculture.

Honduras is a member of the Latin American and Caribbean Parliament (Parlatino) which has just held its Annual General Meeting in Panama (February 10-12)with the participation of a Moroccan delegation led by the President of the House of Councilors, Naama Mayara.
