The artist Maya Diab wrote through her account on the “X” platform: “Today, unfortunately, it was the turn of the churches, as even the holy places were not spared from the strikes of the Israeli enemy. The Church of Saint George in Yaroun, south of Lebanon, was the target.”

She continued: “How long will southern Lebanon remain an open battlefield!! And how long will the Lebanese continue to be forcibly displaced from their homes in order to protect themselves from a merciless war… May God protect southern Lebanon.”
