How to pay less for your entrance tickets to amusement parks

Good deals alert. The “Promojagers” Facebook page, dedicated to bargains, has compiled the best promotions for amusement parks and other family excursions not to be missed this summer. “There are big savings to be made by buying tickets on the internet and avoiding, most of the time, the official site of the park/place you plan to visit”, assures the group’s administrator, Guillaume Gillain.

For the most attractive offers, appointment at Plopsa. “There is a free 1+1 promo valid for the 6 Belgian parks (including 2 water parks). Tickets can be purchased until August 21 inclusive and will remain valid until August 31 inclusive. Note that this promotion cannot be found on the group’s Belgian sites. “It doesn’t matter, we will obviously be satisfied with the Dutch site with a hook on a translation site if necessary”, smiles Guillaume Gillain.

Only need one ticket? “We advise you to use the code DEZONDAG22 on all Plopsa sites. He will give you 35% off. If it’s a ticket for Plopsaland in De Panne that you need, then Bongo is where you’ll find the best price: €22.87 instead of €43.50 (48% reduction), with the code PJAGERS-AUG22.”

Watchword? Forget (most of the time) official sites. “The French website Tripper allows for example to buy tickets for Aqualibi (at 17€) and Walibi (at 29.50€) in Wavre with reductions of around 33%.

These tickets are not available on the Belgian site, but you can on the other hand find tickets for Parc Astérix at 44€ instead of 55€ (-20%). An identical reduction is offered for the SeaLife in Blankenberge with tickets at 16€ instead of the traditional price set at 20 euros.

Finally, the Dutch version of Tripper offer 25% discount for a visit to Boudewijn Seapark (€20.95 instead of €28). The offer is even more advantageous (31%) on tickets for Bellewaerde (25€ instead of 36€). The reduction even climbs to 42% for Bobbejaanland (€24.90 instead of €42.90).

Want to criss-cross Wallonia? “We advise you to download the VisitWallonia Pass app. It offers many offers and reductions, in particular for the Monde Sauvage d’Aywaille and for the Forestia animal park”.

Las but not least, “a great promotion for Disneyland Paris”. “Unfortunately, it is not valid for the summer holidays. It will also be difficult to take advantage of it during school holidays or weekends”, tempers Guillaume Gillain. For once, go to the official website of the famous park.
