O iPad It has become, for many people, a good substitute for the traditional computer. This was thanks to the constant changes that Apple implemented in the tablet’s multitasking system — which became even better after it stopped using iOS and started using iPadOS as the system.
More recently, some apps like Notes (Notes), Safari, Mail, and Files (Files) allow open and use multiple windowswhich includes those that have been opened in Split View or Slide Over.
Check out how to use them! 😉
How to view open app windows on iPad
Go to the iPad Home screen or swipe up from the bottom edge of the tablet to make the Dock appear. Press and hold your finger on the app and choose “Show All Windows”. When you tap a thumbnail, the content will appear in the current window, full screen.
If you are using the Split Viewtap the three dots (at the top) to view the open windows of the same app.
When viewing a thumbnail of all open windows of an iPad app, you can also create a new window; just tap the “+”.
Did you already know about this possibility? 😊
