As festive lights illuminate homes this November, manufacturers are rolling out a fresh wave of consumer hardware across India, balancing high-end mobile silicon against ballooning component costs.

HP OmniBook 5 and ProBook 4 G2iS Target Divergent Workloads

HP splits its latest India lineup between campus utility and enterprise endurance. The HP OmniBook 5 arrives at a starting price of Rs 1,09,999—though promotional offers pull the effective entry cost down to Rs 79,999. Weighing in at 1.16kg with an 11.77mm chassis, the machine packs an OLED display rated for 100 per cent DCI-P3 color coverage. Parallel to the student-focused OmniBook, the HP ProBook 4 G2iS targets growing enterprise fleets. It features a 14-inch 2.8K OLED panel, up to an Intel Core 7 CPU, 32GB of RAM, and 1TB of onboard storage. The Mist Silver variant hits the market on November 6, carrying a base tag of Rs 86,000 before taxes. Meanwhile, buyers eyeing the OmniBook 5 face a pre-booking window closing on November 10, ahead of full retail fulfillment.
