Al-Marsad newspaper: The Kuwaiti State Security managed to arrest Sheikh Fahad Salem Al-Ali, because of a tweet offensive to the Emir of the country.

According to the Kuwaiti newspaper, “Al-Qabas”, quoting an informed source, the prosecution investigated Sheikh Fahad Salem Al-Ali and ordered his detention until tomorrow to complete the investigations with him.

The source said that Al-Ali confirmed during the initial investigations that he did not intend to offend His Highness the Amir, and that he had all respect and appreciation for His Highness, and that he complied with the law in his tweets.

The source indicated that Al-Ali requested his release with any guarantee the Public Prosecution deems appropriate, but his request was rejected.
