Al-Marsad newspaper – SPA: The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority thwarted an attempt to smuggle a large amount of Captagon pills, amounting to 14,976,000 pills, following finding them hidden in a consignment received to the Kingdom through the port of Jeddah Islamic Port.
The authority explained that a consignment of a “concrete block making machine” arrived in the Kingdom via Jeddah Islamic Port, and during the inspection and inspection process on the consignment, that quantity of grain was found technically hidden in the machine’s cavity.
The authority indicated that following coordinating with the General Directorate of Narcotics Control, in order to ensure the arrest of the recipients of the seizures, the receiver of the contraband inside the Kingdom was arrested, thanks to God, who is one person.
