In the aftermath of the Strépy tragedy, the relatives of the victims are struggling to realize

Many questions still remain to be clarified to ease the pain of the victims.

This Monday, the day after the tragedy that shook the entity of La Louvière and more generally an entire country, the emotion was still very strong. For the relatives of the victims, the hardest part is probably still to come: getting used to an absence, living with questions that will probably remain unanswered, trying to understand the incomprehensible.

Valentin Debauque knew Frédéric Cicero well. The latter should have completed his term at the Manageoise Entity before taking the helm of RUS Binche and becoming its general manager. He lost his life on Sunday. “Before becoming a trainer, he had been my parents’ friend for many years and, by necessity, a friend for me as well”explains Valentin Debauque. “He trained me as a youngster for two years. These are two years that I will never forget as I was able to learn by his side, both sportingly and humanly. He pulled the players up.”
