Dr. Hossam Mawafi, Professor of Critical Care Medicine at Kasr Al-Ainy Medical College, advised every patient who suffers from an increase in kidney function, which may reach 6.25, to hurry to go to the nearest specialized doctor.
In his program “Rabb Zadni Alam”, which is broadcast on “Sada Al-Balad” channel, Mowafi confirmed that the rate of kidney function rise by an estimated 6 degrees, and it remains constant on this percentage, better than the rate of high rate of kidney function reaching 3, but it is variable.

Mowafi explained that the variable rate of rise in kidney function may rise suddenly, and this is a dangerous matter, in contrast to the fixed rate that does not pose any health risks.

The Professor of Critical Care Medicine stressed the necessity of conducting kidney function tests and examinations for diabetic patients, explaining that diabetes harms the health of the kidneys without feeling any symptoms on the patient.
