Abu Dhabi: UAE pays tribute to expatriate woman injured in Abu Dhabi fire last month The authorities paid tribute to Iman al-Safaqzi, an Arab national. They were visited at the hospital by the chairman of the UAE National Disaster Management Authority.

On May 23, a gas cylinder exploded at a restaurant in Al Khalidiya, Abu Dhabi. The fire broke out in a five-story building. An Indian and a Pakistani national died in the accident. A total of 120 people were injured. Five buildings and a few shops in the area were also damaged.
