Intoxication in the Cali Police leaves 56 women hospitalized

On the morning of this Sunday there was a massive poisoning in the Cali Police, where 56 women who are in the process of training to be a Police assistant had to be referred to health centers.

The incident occurred at 7:30 am this Sunday, presumably after eating food. The women were transferred to the Western Regional Clinic of the National Police and to the Valle University Hospital, where they are recovering without gravity.

“At approximately 7:30 a.m., the intoxication of 56 women who are in the process of training to be a police assistant occurs. They were immediately transferred to the Western Regional Clinic of the National Police and to the Valle University Hospital,” he explained. Juan Carlos León Montes, Commander of the Santiago de Cali Metropolitan Police.

The authorities reported that the food supply point will be suspended while the Police Health group, accompanied by Public Surveillance of the Departmental Health Secretariat, carry out different checks on food samples and surfaces, to clearly establish that could cause this poisoning.
