The Iowa State women’s basketball team’s last game didn’t result in a win. But the Cyclones sure impressed plenty of people during it.
Iowa State (4-4) will try to bounce back following a loss to No. 3 Iowa when the Cyclones take on North Dakota State (4-5) on Sunday at 5 p.m., at Hilton Coliseum.
The Cyclones nearly took down a top 10 in-state rival during their last time out. They stayed within striking distance of the Hawkeyes for most of the game and even led late in the fourth quarter.
But the inexperienced and scrappy Cyclones squad mightn’t finish out what would have been a marquee victory early in the season for them.
