Although the built-in Defender antivirus software in Microsoft Windows provides adequate protection once morest viruses and malware, there is a better way to protect once morest cyberattacks, and that is to rely on free antivirus software.
The German Goods and Products Testing Authority came to this conclusion following testing 20 of them.
Kaspersky Security Cloud Free is the best free software, along with three free antivirus programs that have a “good” rating: Avast Free Antivirus, AVG Antivirus Free, and Bitdefender Antivirus Free Edition.
Although Microsoft Windows Defender turned out to be the worst program in the test with an “acceptable” rating, it provides adequate protection once morest viruses and malware, and German experts confirmed that it is not a bad antivirus program.
