School Record Deep Dives Across Namwon, Muju, Wanju, and Gimje
Parents of fifth and sixth-grade elementary students and all middle school grade levels can apply for the advanced curriculum regardless of their specific place of residence. The initial block of sessions focuses heavily on the mechanics of school life records, covering how teachers log subject evaluations and how daily classroom questions transition into student-led academic inquiry.
The first session takes place on November 10 at the Namwon Office of Education, led by teacher Cho Chang-nyung of Gochang Buk High School. This is followed by a November 12 session at the Muju Office of Education led by Jo Seok-jin of Wansan High School. Both sessions cap attendance at 50 participants.
Wanju’s session is scheduled for November 13 at the Kongji Patji Library, featuring Kwon Oh-sung of Sangsan High School with an increased capacity of 80 participants. Gimje wraps up this specific module on November 21 at the local education support office, led by Kim Sol-ji of Sangsan High School with a 50-person limit.
High School Credit Systems and Admissions Changes in Gunsan, Gochang, Iksan, and Jeongeup
A separate track operated in conjunction with the Jeonbuk Career and Admissions Center targets the broader structural changes hitting secondary education. These sessions unpack the introduction of the high school credit system, the shift to a five-tier grading scale, and how the revamped 2028 university entrance examination system alters evaluation metrics.
Shin Geun-geun, a teacher at the Jeonbuk Office of Education, conducts the Gunsan session on November 24 at the local Wee Center and the Jeongeup session on December 3 at the Jeongeup Office of Education. Both Gunsan and Jeongeup limit attendance to 50 parents per session.
Admissions officer Jang Han-byul takes the podium on November 26 at the Gochang Office of Education with a 50-person cap, followed by a larger 100-person session on December 1 at the Iksan Office of Education.
Choosing the Right School Environment in Jeonju
The program culminates in a specialized high school selection lecture on December 12 at the Jeonju Office of Education Gifted Education Center. Kwon Oh-sung returns to break down distinct high school types, underlying curricula, and how parents can match an institution to an adolescent’s specific aptitudes and interests. This final lecture accommodates up to 100 participants.
