Jey Mammon’s reactions after going to the Martín Fierro
The days leading up to the Martín Fierro awards ceremony held on Sunday, July 9, revolved around one question: Will Jey Mammon go to the ceremony? Once at the Hilton Hotel, where the gala was held, this topic was also discussed, before and after the music program category was delivered, in which La peña de morfi was found, which had him as host until the last year and which was one of the first to be announced.
It is that Mammon was separated by the Telefe authorities at the end of March after the complaint for alleged sexual abuse made by Lucas Benvenuto that prescribed in Justice became public. In this scenario, days before the ceremony, Jey had published on his networks a summary of various fragments of the musicals with famous guests that had taken place in the cycle during 2022 with a text that read: “Many thanks to APTRA for the nomination Congratulations to the entire La Peña de Morfi team and thank you for allowing me to experience moments as beautiful as these”.
The moment of truth came at 9:23 p.m. on Sunday, when Santiago del Moro, host of the gala, presented the best music program category. As befits the protocol, the mention of each cycle included archival material, which in the case of La Peña did not show Jey Mammon. And seconds before announcing the winner -which would turn out to be Puente Musical, from El Nueve-, he simultaneously struck out each of the tables involved in the category. There it could be seen that in the one corresponding to the Telefe program, Cirio, the cooks Santiago Giorgini and Rodrigo Cascón were there but not Jey, who did appear a while later, sat at the table together with his colleagues and spoke with Teleshow.

“It is a night that has to do with meeting people, it goes beyond a program or an award, whether La Peña wins or not. That seems secondary to me,” said the driver in reference to what had just happened in the Pacific room of the Hilton Hotel.
Asked about the reunion with his colleagues, he said: “I have been talking to them,” and pointed out the figure of Jesica Cirio: “What I miss the most is her perfume, which is very rich. And I don’t have it but it’s very expensive”. And regarding his state of mind, he stated: “I am very well, waiting for the food.” Later, he took a minute to approach the table where Susana Giménez was and greet her with a big hug and kiss, which kept them chatting for a few minutes. “I am living a super moment, all divine”, with those words she would summarize her experience of what happened in this awards ceremony.
And it was through his social networks where he left a summary of the night lived: a fragment of the obituary in which Natalia Oreiro was moved by her interpretation of Gilda, as well as an image in which he can be seen accompanied by Jesica Cirio as well as the cook shell. “Postcards of the night. Thank you for your messages ”, reads the comment that Jey left, accompanied by a heart.
He was also seen sharing complicit smiles and chats with Beto Casella, Any Ventura and Edith Hermida, Bendita’s top staff, in addition to the aforementioned chat with Susana Giménez. Another of the people who appeared there was Romina Pereiro, who was accompanying the driver at different times of the evening.
In the last of the stories uploaded to his Instagram account, he receives a hug from Alfa, a former Big Brother participant, who is heard saying: “You don’t have to listen to anything”, as advice for what is to come.
