Teams from India, Singapore and Vietnam will be participating in the tournament and the winners will receive a prize money of US$ 30,000. The tri-nation tournament is in round robin format. There is a prize of US$ 20,000 for the second place and US$ 10,000 for the third place.

The All India Football Federation (AIFF) faced a FIFA ban after third-party interference. FIFA lifted the ban when it was assured that a smooth election would be held. The matches against Singapore and Vietnam are the first international matches in which the Indian national team will play after the FIFA ban was lifted. Therefore, this tournament is important for AIFF. The Indian team will leave for Vietnam with prominent players of ISL clubs.
India’s matches are against Singapore on September 24 and Vietnam on September 27. The Indian national team will be playing for the first time after playing in Kolkata in June for the AFC (Asian Football Confederation) Asian Cup 2023 qualifiers.

No problem, but…
The Kerala Blasters FC players who are currently in the national camp will rejoin the club on September 28 and 29. Because India’s last match in Vietnam is on September 27. The ISL 2022-2023 season will begin on October 7 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi. The opening match is between Kerala Blasters FC and East Bengal Club.
Meanwhile, Kerala Blasters FC will not get the services of Sahal, Jackson, Rahul and Khabra if they have warm-up matches. The Kerala Blasters FC camp has a backup to not overshadow their absence. Adrian Luna, Sourav Mandal, Bryce Miranda, Ivan Kaliushny, Putia, Ayush Adhikari and Givson Singh are among the middle order. In defence, Nishu Kumar, Sandeep Singh, Jezel Carneiro, Bejoy Varghese, Marco Leskovic and Victor Mongil. However, if Sahal, Jackson, Rahul and Khabra are also there, Kerala Blasters FC will be set.
