Kogan on Zabiyako: “The Canadian Federation refused the request. Now she is a Russian figure skater” – Figure Skating

Figure Skating Federation of Canada withdrew the request about the Russian woman Natalia Zabiyako.

This was announced by the Director General of the Russian Figure Skating Federation (FFKR) Alexander Kogan.

“The Canadian Figure Skating Federation has previously contacted us about Natalia Zabiyako and has already sent a refusal of her request. At the moment, Zabiyako is a Russian figure skater,” Kogan said.

In May this year, it became known that Zabiyako intends to resume her career and play for Canada in tandem with Zachary Daleman.

In Russia, Zabiyako paired with Alexander Enbert, they are the silver medalists of Pyeongchang-2018 in the team. The couple ended their careers in February 2020 due to partner health issues.
