Auto dealer group “Avilon” began to import new cars under parallel import to Russia for resale to other companies – sellers of cars. This was told to Vedomosti by the director of the department of wholesale sales of cars of the Avilon group, Gratsin Belenova. Thus, the car dealer becomes an alternative distributor of brands that stopped deliveries of cars to Russia after the start of the CBO in Ukraine.
Prior to this, on February 15, 2023, Yulia Ovchinnikova, Director of Development and Innovation at Klyuchavto, said at the ForAuto forum that the company had created a division that was focused on working with cars supplied to Russia through parallel imports. This will provide vehicles not only for Klyuchavto, but also for the company’s partners, she noted.
