Looking for logic when John Abraham pulls a flying helicopter?

Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathan has hit the theaters on January 25. King Khan’s return after four years has been celebrated by fans and audiences alike. Shahrukh will play the role of Pathan, a spy in the film who fights against the threat against the country.

Spoiler Alert

John Abraham has come to the film as a villain named Jim. While there are many positive elements to be highlighted, there is also some glaring illogic that creeps in. This especially comes through in the fight scenes. Recently, John Abraham, who has made a hobby of taking off and lowering the helicopter and lifting the bike with the driver, is pulling two helicopters in Pathan. That too over the moving truck.

John Abraham is holding the helicopters that are connected to each other with an iron rope and pushing them forward and connecting them to the wire of the truck. An ordinary human villain is transformed into a superhuman in these scenes. Another question is why the driver who was driving that truck did not stop it despite all these incidents.

Even though such a big incident happened in the center of a city like Dubai, no intervention of its legal systems can be seen. It was another illogicality to have a car crash and a villain walking in broad daylight wearing a large mask and armed with weapons, and there was not even a single person there at that time.

Although it can be argued that logic does not matter in cinema, it also has its limits. Not only that, the audience will look at the logic in the movie. For example, in CID Musa, Harishree Ashokan falling down from the twelfth floor of a flat without incident and Kochin Hanifa standing on one side of the wheelbarrow flying up when the sack falls will not be unpleasant for the audience. That’s the logic of that film. That is the tone the film communicates to the audience.

But if such a scene comes in the recent comedy film Jaan A Mann, the audience will not accept it. Because being so close to everyday life, the logic of falling from the 10th floor without hitting anything doesn’t work in Jan A Man. At least Pathan could have done justice to the logic within the film in the fight scenes.
