The new crown epidemic continues. Shenzhen Port has continuously found that the nucleic acid test results of cross-border truck drivers have been positive in recent months. In this month alone, at least 150 confirmed cases have been recorded. Shenzhen People’s Government Port Office and Zhuhai New Crown Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters Office , the “Notice on Regulating the Requirements for Nucleic Acid Test Reports for Inbound Passengers from Hong Kong” was released earlier to update the nucleic acid test report requirements for inbound passengers from Hong Kong, which will take effect from 10:00 a.m. yesterday (7th).

The Shenzhen and Zhuhai authorities pointed out that in order to further improve the prevention and control of the new coronavirus epidemic and speed up the customs clearance efficiency of Guangdong and Hong Kong,The nucleic acid test report held by inbound passengers from Hong Kong must meet three major requirements:

1) The laboratory department of the test report must belong to the 33 designated nucleic acid testing institutions in Hong Kong recognized by Guangdong and Hong Kong
2) The test report must state that the sampling method is nasopharyngeal swab or nasal cavity and throat mixed swab
3) The test report must list the test and sampling time, and it must be within 48 hours before the passenger passes through customs
