Succession star Brian Cox recently made a shocking confession about Meghan Markle. He said that the wife of Prince Harry had had the ambition to marry into the royal family for a long time.
This was conveyed by Brian Cox during an interview at Haute Living New York. The Scottish actor said Meghan Markle knows very well about the royal ‘system’, and shouldn’t be surprised by the drama she has caused herself.
“You can’t go into a system where people have been trained to behave a certain way, and then expect them to walk away,” Brian Cox was quoted as saying by the NY Post.
“I mean, he already knows very well what he’s going to get into,” he continued.
Brian Cox then called Meghan Markle not as innocent as it seems. The Emmy winner said that Meghan had the ambition from the start to get married and become part of the royal family.
“Meghan definitely had clear ambitions after Harry came into her life. Childhood dreams of marrying a prince and all the things that we only see as fairy tales and things that we can only imagine in dreams,” she said.
According to his confession in the documentary Harry & Meghan, Meghan Markle claims to know nothing about Prince Harry and the British royal family. He stressed that marrying Prince Harry was not to become part of the royal family.
The two then decided to step down as part of the British empire two years after their marriage. Harry and Meghan then lived in California and raised their two children, Archie and Lilibet there.
His relationship with the royal family deteriorated further after the release of Spare’s documentary and memoir. In fact, King Charles III asked Harry and Meghan to vacate their residence in England, Frogmore Cottage.
Prior to the coronation of King Charles III, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle claimed to have received an invitation. However, it is still unknown whether the two will be present at this important event.
