The Ministry of Health reported that in the last 24 hours, 693 new cases of covid-19 were registered throughout the country. So far there are 6,080,589 confirmed cases throughout Colombia. In addition, there are a total of 5,495 active cases.
In the last 24 hours, 24,496 tests were processed to detect the virus, 10,246 for PCR and 14,250 for antigens.
In the report it was also known that there were a total of 16 deaths related to the virus, which is why the figure rose to 139,434 deaths.
The Ministry also announced that Bogotá ranks first in number of infections with a total of 1.76 million cases, followed by Antioquia with 917,451 and Valle with 539,931.
