The combat crews of the S-400 Triumph anti-aircraft missile systems of the Baltic Fleet repulsed the attack of a mock enemy. The maneuvers involved 20 pieces of equipment and more than 100 military personnel, the press service of the Western Military District for the Baltic Fleet reports on Wednesday, April 6.
According to the legend of the exercises, the enemy intended to launch a massive missile and bomb strike on military and civilian targets. “Enemy” aircraft on the distant approaches were found by means of radar reconnaissance.
“Combat crews of the S-400 immediately took targets for escort, carried out the capture and electronic missile launches destroyed the means of air attack at the entrance to the far border of the zone of destruction of the complexes. The training and combat mission was worked out under the conditions of mass radio suppression of a mock enemy, ”the press service of the fleet noted.
At the same time, the Pantsir anti-aircraft missile and gun system provided air defense cover and destroyed drones and reconnaissance helicopters.
