Republicans campaign against green investments

The US conservatives are agitating in parliament against “socially conscious” investing. With allegations such as “greenwashing”, they hit sore spots, but threaten to exaggerate when countermeasures are taken.

A good environmental balance, social interaction with everyone involved and good corporate governance or in English ESG – this has been playing an increasingly important role in financial investments for years. The business with the mass-founded ESG funds was obviously so lucrative that the globally managed assets in this area now amount to around 2,500 billion dollars.
