Dhaka: Left-handed opener Mohammad Naeem has been included in the Bangladesh squad for the Asia Cup cricket. Naimim, who was part of the Bangladesh A team touring the West Indies, will soon return to Dubai.
He has played 34 Twenty20 matches for Bangladesh. Hasan Mahmud and Noor ul Hasan Sohan were left out of the Bangladesh team due to injuries. Mahmud was injured during training. The star needs at least three weeks of rest. Naimim last played in a Twenty20 against Afghanistan in March. He was dropped from the Twenty20 series against West Indies and Zimbabwe.
