Monte Carlo: A violent clash between Queiroz and Khalilhodzic after the match between Egypt and Morocco

French radio “Radio Monte Carlo” revealed a quarrel that occurred between the coaches of Egypt and Morocco, Carlos Queiroz Vahid Halilhodzic, following the end of the match that was held yesterday in the quarter-finals of the 2021 African Nations Cup.

The match ended with Egypt beating Morocco 2-1, qualifying for the semi-finals, and facing Cameroon, the owner of the land and the public next Thursday, at exactly nine o’clock in the evening, “Cairo” time.

According to the radio report, following the match ended, a violent clash occurred between coaches Queiroz and Khalilozic, which led to the latter’s refusal to attend the press conference on the pretext that the Portuguese did not do so before the match.

Halilhodzic also missed press meetings in the designated area following the match, but he found time to quarrel with Queiroz.

Queiroz and Halilhodzic clashed violently in the stadium corridors, their tone rising rapidly and seriously.

And the radio reported that Queiroz tried to calm the atmosphere in the press conference following the match and praised the work of Halilhodzic But animosity was evident between the two.
