For the first head of the EPCA, this influx is probably due to the lack of competitions which had been frozen since 2016 by the former deposed regime. The commission chaired by the Director General of the Civil Service, Edith Kombila, is already hard at work examining the files.

“Yes there is a crowd but it is normal, because the President of the Transition, President of the Republic, Head of State, General Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema would like all compatriots who have the diplomas to be able to take the competitive exams to enter the civil service, because he advocates full employment,” he said.

For this competition which will be held on the 4th and 5th but next, 470 places are filled at the EPCA, all sectors combined. The school trains in category A2 (license), B1 (Bac) and B2 (BEPC).
