Previously, Mr. Kim is accused of purchasing 500 villas in the metropolitan area in Gangseo-gu and Gwanak-gu, Seoul, in the name of his two daughters since 2017 with a charter, and then receiving a deposit of 18.3 billion won from 85 tenants.
It was revealed that Mr. Kim conspired with a new villa sales agent to obtain a lessee before purchasing the villa and repeatedly receive a deposit for the jeonse that is more expensive than the sale price.
