WASHINGTON (Archyde.com) – Republican Rep. Dick Cheney, a leading Republican critic of former President Donald Trump, continues to falsely claim that the 2020 presidential election was stolen on Wednesday’s ABC television show. He declared that he would block Republican candidates who would agree with him in the midterm elections in November this year.

The interview was taped days after Cheney’s landslide defeat in Wyoming’s Republican primary for the midterm elections on Wednesday.

Cheney warned that unless he stopped a broader movement to deny the 2020 presidential election, the order of the U.S. constitution could be undermined. “I will focus on doing whatever I can to ensure that people who deny the results of the election are not elected,” he said. He “will stop those people. I will support those who oppose them,” he said.

He didn’t name the Republican candidates or prospects he would try to block, but did acknowledge that they were some of his fellow congressmen.

In addition, Republican Senators Ted Cruz (Texas) and Josh Hawley (Missouri) voted against last January’s accreditation ballot on the outcome of the presidential election. accusing him of behavior that fundamentally threatens the United States and has rendered him ineligible for future public office.

Cheney said he would consider the 2024 presidential run to prevent Trump from winning re-election.

Cheney is a big figure in the Republican Party whose father was Dick, who served as vice president in the Bush administration, and has harshly held Trump accountable for the attack on Congress by Trump supporters in January last year.
