Subsequently, SYRIZA-PS turns its fire against the prime minister claiming: “On Thursday, March 29, Mr. Mitsotakis claimed from the floor of the Parliament that he does not co-govern ‘with any interest’. However, previously (Sunday, March 24) he pleaded – through his closest associates and relatives – to ‘shut down’ those whom he accused of seeking to destabilize his government. At the same time that Mr. Pavlos Marinakis was using phrases like ‘mud and slander’ aimed at the prime minister, who ‘has nothing to do with interests’. How many lies and how much hypocrisy do they think the citizens can stand? Once again, the ND government and Mr. Mitsotakis himself are exposed and accountable because of the unimaginable way in which they operate as a ‘power peddler'”.
In a sort of postscript, he concludes: “We will not be surprised if, in his panic, Mr. Mitsotakis is forced to ‘resign’ soon and other of his ministers”.
