Dubai: Sri Lanka defeated the Bengal Tigers in Asia Cup Super Four after a long excitement till the last over. Sri Lanka needed 25 runs in the last two overs to win. But with the Lankans finding boundaries and the Bangladeshi bowlers conceding extras, Jayam stood with Lanka.
Sri Lankan players celebrated their victory with naga dance from the dressing room after scoring the winning runs and entering the Asia Cup Super Four. After knocking out Sri Lanka in the 2018 Nidahus Trophy, the Bangladeshi players celebrated with a similar step.

Sri Lanka and Afghanistan will enter the Super Four from Group B. Kushal Mendis scored 60 runs from 37 balls with 4 fours and 3 sixes against Bangladesh. Captain Dasun Shanaka scored 45 runs. Ashito Fernandes, who found two boundaries in three balls in the last overs, also saved Lanka.
