A driver is suspected of having intentionally hit a pedestrian on Saturday around 6:00 a.m. at the exit of the nightclub “The Flagrant Delirium”, in Namur, indicates Sunday the Namur parquet floor. The victim was seriously injured.
The driver, who had several passengers in his vehicle, had consumed alcohol and cannabis. After hitting the pedestrian, he fled before surrendering to the police.
Presented to an investigating judge, he was charged with attempted murder and malicious obstruction of traffic, while being placed under an arrest warrant. The prosecution appointed an expert to determine the exact circumstances of the accident.
