“New Excavations in Bois du Plantis: Updates on Britta Cloetens’ Case in Dinant”

The Bois du Plantis in Sorinnes (Dinant) has, according to our colleagues from Matélé, been the subject of new excavations this Wednesday. It would seem that many police, DVI and civil protection vehicles have taken over the premises to carry out new searches.

As a reminder, it was in this wood that last December, a hunter had discovered human bones.

A few weeks ago, after analysis, it appeared that the skull found belonged to Britta Cloetens, a young woman from Antwerp who disappeared in 2011 at the age of 25.

According to our colleagues, about sixty police officers were mobilized to carry out additional investigative duties in the context of this case.

The head of the Haute-Meuse area, interviewed by Matélé, confirms that the services are combing the premises “to find new clues, new bones or personal items that belonged to the victim”.
