On the 19th, at 6 pm, New Jeans will release the song ‘Ditto’ from their first single album ‘OMG’ on music sites around the world. This is the first new song released in about four months since the release of the debut album ‘New Jeans’, which hit domestic and international music charts in August.
‘Ditto’ is a song specially prepared for the first winter with Bernie’s (official fan club name) by reinterpreting the Baltimore club dance music genre with New Jeans’ own sensibility. It is known that member Minji participated in writing the lyrics for this song, which contains affection and excitement in various musical elements, drawing more attention.
New Jeans enhances their musical perfection through two music videos for ‘Ditto’ that contain storytelling. Director Shin Woo-seok of Dolphin Kidnapper, a film and studio, participated in the production of this music video, which is connected to parts 1 and 2, and the story of Bunnies and New Jeans is expected to add cinematic fun.
‘OMG’, which will be released on the 2nd of next month, is an album that captures the winter of New Jeans, and will deliver a different look from the summer of New Jeans that ‘New Jeans’ showed. The title song ‘OMG’ of the same name as the album was conceived during the production of the debut album, and member Hani participated in writing the lyrics.
