NVIDIA released the entry-level desktop graphics card GeForce GTX 1630 with only 512 CUDA Cores and 64bit memory bandwidth (179213)

As the performance and functions of the built-in graphics of AMD and Intel processors are getting better and better, and the demand for entry-level GPUs in the desktop PC market is getting lower and lower, NVIDIA has announced at this time that it is lower-end than the GTX 1650. The GTX 1630, and it needs to be equipped with 6Pin extra power supply, it is a bit confusing.

GTX 1630 與其它 GTX 系列產品同為 Turing 架構產物,核心晶片與 GTX 1650 相同,但封印更多的核心數量,配有 8 個 SM 與 512 個 CUDA Core ,Boost Clock 設定在 1,785MHz ,記憶體雖配有 4GB GDDR6 ,但頻寬僅有 64bit 與 96GB/s 的傳輸速度,同時功耗也維持在 75W TDP 的水準,據稱性能也與 GTX 1050 相去不遠。

畢竟規格與性能表現僅有 GTX 1050 的水準,恐怕也不是以電競類型遊戲玩家為客群訴求,加上僅有三路顯示輸出,也不像是為了提供多螢幕連接而來,推測可能偏向入門系統裝機搭配一類的市場需求。
