Omega expands James Bond Seamaster Diver 300M line

Omega Expands James Bond Line with Six New Seamaster Diver 300M Models

Omega is expanding its Seamaster Diver 300M watch collection with models that share common features. The release brings fresh variations to the luxury watchmaker’s established James Bond lineup, maintaining core specifications from the existing catalog.

Shared Engineering and Design Specifications

All six watches share the fundamental traits of the Seamaster lineage, acknowledging James Bond’s official status as a commander in the Royal Navy. Every new reference adheres strictly to the 300M designation, providing 300 meters of water resistance. Omega places these models firmly in the Diver category, sitting below the 150-meter Aqua Terra, the 600-meter Planet Ocean, and the 1200-meter Ploprof.

Each timepiece features a 42-millimeter stainless steel case. This diameter serves as the standard format for the segment, avoiding the bulkier 43.5-millimeter or 44-millimeter dimensions found on other specialized tool watches in the brand’s portfolio.

The Calibre 8806 Automatic Movement

A single mechanical heart drives every reference in the new release. Omega selected the Calibre 8806 automatic movement for all six models, capitalizing on its robust architecture. This movement operates as a direct variation of the Calibre 8800, which currently powers approximately forty different Seamaster Diver 300M references across the catalog.

The Calibre 8800 holds a METAS-certified Master Chronometer rating, ensuring reliable timekeeping under magnetic fields up to 15,000 Gauss. Omega specifically favors the 8806 variant for its James Bond iterations because it includes a specialized oscillating weight.
