Earlier, the Ministry of Education intended to introduce a “patriotic Monday” from September 1, but in some regions they decided to speed up the events.

“During the anthem, I saw you sing along. Many people know all the words by heart. This is very pleasing. Our flag and our anthem are the main symbols of the country. Traditions are our strength,” emphasized Elvira Shamonova.
Recall that in April, the head of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation Sergey Kravtsov at the first all-Russian school historical forum “Strength in Truth!” reported that from September 1, every school week in Russian schools will begin with the performance of the Russian anthem and raising the national flag. Earlier it became known that all schools in the country will be provided with state symbols at the expense of the national project “Education”.
As the regional government explains, this work will begin in the pilot regions from May, in all the rest – from September 1, 2022, and in Primorye itself, a new tradition began on April 25. The mayor’s office of Vladivostok added that from that day on, the city’s schools will gradually join and introduce new practices.
