A child brandished a loaded pistol in an apartment complex in Indiana, USA, even going so far as to point the barrel at it and pull the trigger.
His father has since been placed under arrest, several media report.
The video shows a very young child, in a diaper, playing at the foot of the stairs of an apartment building in Beech Grove, Indiana.
The young child holds the lethal weapon close to his head, then points it innocently around him, towards the residences of his neighbors.
At one point, the toddler even casually turns the barrel of the gun up, toward his neck.
According to CNN, the boy also pulled the trigger, but the shot did not fire because there were no bullets in the chamber, although 15 bullets were in the magazine.
NBC News reported that the boy eventually entered one of the living units.
Beech Grove County Police responded to the building after a neighbor called 911 to report a boy with a gun.
The boy’s father, Shane E. Osborne, was later met by officers. He would then have claimed not to have any weapon.

However, officers searched his apartment and found the gun under a television in the living room.
Mr. Osborne was arrested and committed to the county jail on suspicion of neglect of an addict.
