In Rennes (Ille-et-Vilaine), it’s the same objective, but with a different method. It is the subscriptions for underground car parks that have cost more since the beginning of the year: more than five euros on average for a weekly card and more than ten euros per month for non-residents.
“It’s not fair to people who work every day. It makes a huge difference at the end of the year”, laments a motorist. The metropolis assumes this choice and invites motorists to park for free at the entrance to the city in the relay car parks.
