I am Louis Patsalidis. I was born in 1980. Great year. From the age of 13 I started writing the first satirical texts, which I started for fun, but as I grew older I aimed to turn my hobby into a profession! In 2000 I was employed at Laiki Bank. “Secure job my son” were the words of my dad who, like any self-respecting parent, dreams of seeing his child restored to a “secure” job, which in Cyprus translates to a bank or the government!
However, the Eurogroup came in March 2013 to destroy the dreams of all parents on the island. So I also made the big decision to leave the security of the bank and finally focus on what I always liked, making people laugh!
In 2006, I appeared professionally in my first Stand up Comedy show, which was an unknown sport in Cyprus at the time, something I continue to do to this day, having more than 800 professional performances to my credit.
In 2014 I present the satirical show “Show & Harmless” on SIGMA TV until 2016, when I move to ALREA CYPRUS TV, where I present the satirical show “Louis Night Show” which is the first show on Cypriot Television.
