Pertamina, through its subsidiary, PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, increased the supply of 3 kilogram (kg) LPG gas by 22,087 metric tons or the equivalent of 7.36 million cylinders. The additional supply of melon gas cylinders was carried out to anticipate increasing community needs during Eid al-Fitr 1445 H.
“The additional allocation of 3 kg LPG is expected to meet community needs during the 2024 Ramadan & Idul Fitri Task Force period,” said Pertamina Patra Niaga Corporate Secretary Irto Ginting in a written statement, Monday (8/4).
The company recorded a 3 kg LPG quota from March 19 to April 7 2024 of 430,867 MT. Meanwhile, actual distribution in that period reached 452,954 MT or exceeded 5.1% of the quota.
Irto added that his party will continue to monitor the need for subsidized gas until the Eid holiday is over. Pertamina Patra Niaga ensures that the stock of 3 kg LPG is safe at the level of 14-15 days.
“We continue to monitor the need for 3 kg LPG until the end of Eid and we will add it to areas that really need it,” said Irto.
The public is advised to buy 3 kg LPG at the official base so they can get the price according to the highest retail price (HET). Pertamina Patra Niaga has prepared 5,027 standby agents.
