The season barely over, we are already looking to the next one. The one who will bring theRowing Bayonne
to lead the Top 14
and a historic first in the Champions Cup, the major European cup. The group – on vacation since last Tuesday – will begin its summer preparation on Wednesday June 28. The Top 14 championship will resume on August 19. Three matches before the World Cup break (September 8 – October 28).

Thus, after several weeks of physical preparation, “to go out to play rugby two to three times a day because I believe in the value of work”, warns Grégory Patat, the manager, Aviron Bayonnais will play two matches. Like last year. A first outside, the second at home. A first meeting on Saturday August 5 against the Pau Section
, in Lourdes. Jean Dauger will then be busy that weekend with the friendly match between the Samoa Islands and Ireland, with a view to the World Cup.

The second match will see the Sky and White host the Stade Français, Friday August 11. Two oppositions against Top 14 teams, to best prepare for the short recovery, with “always the objective of maintaining as a priority to continue to grow this club”assured the manager.
