Farmers criticize – Prime Minister disagrees
One of the points of criticism was the production standards in agriculture. Farmers have to face international competition, said one farmer. While there are high regulations in this country, there are cheap products from abroad in supermarkets.
Kretschmann explained that as Prime Minister of Baden-Württemberg he would not decide on the points raised by the farmers. At the same time, the country has long been concerned with better marketing of regional products. He also advocates for the interests of farmers at the EU and federal level.

Round trip in the Alb-Donau district will be shortened
The Prime Minister finally continued his tour. A planned visit to a photovoltaic system in Allmendingen had to be cancelled. However, a dialogue with representatives from politics, business and science in Blaubeuren in the afternoon took place as planned. Even a citizens’ dialogue in the evening has so far gone without incident. However, the event is very well attended.
