Public Health Report on coronavirus No. 660

The Ministry of Public Health reports that on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, there were no deaths due to COVID-19.

It is also announced that until 7:30 p.m. on the date, the following official numbers of coronavirus cases were registered in San Juan:

  • New cases: 590
  • Total confirmed: 74691
  • Patients with infectious process: 2203
  • Deceased persons (accumulated): 1,191
  • Recovered: 71297
  • Negative Tests: 1944

21 patients are admitted to the COVID-19 areas (between positives and suspects) of the Dr. Guillermo Rawson hospitals; Dr. Marcial Quiroga; Dr. Ventura Lloveras, from Sarmiento; Dr. César Aguilar, from Caucete; Dr. José Giordano, from Albardón; Dr. Federico Cantoni, from Pocito; CEMEC; Dr. Julieta Lanteri; Hospital San Roque, of Jáchal; Dr. Alejandro Albarracín Hospital, from Valle Fértil; Barreal Hospital, Calingasta; Hospital 25 de Mayo; Private hospital; Medical Institute; El Castaño Clinic; Santa Clara Clinic; Sanatorio San Juan and CCI.

Of this total, 3 patients remain hospitalized in the Critical Area, without mechanical ventilation.

Among those interned in the COVID-19 area, there are no pediatric or pregnant / postpartum patients.
