“Our goal is to terrorize the Jews,” they wrote in particular. For the moment, three young people aged 15 and 16, two of whom are of Chechen origin, have been indicted in Paris. A young 16-year-old from Brussels was arrested on June 14 in Brussels, for another planned attack according to Le Parisien, before also finding himself involved in this case. One of the young French people, living in Tours, filmed himself, alarm gun in hand, shouting threats against the West and promising death. He had researched the manufacture of explosives, and attacks committed in Israel by the Islamic State. He had also been sanctioned several times by his school, in the spring of 2023, including once for singing a song inviting people to “take out the kalashes” to “kill French people” and another for showing videos praising attacks. Another created video games about massacres in schools, and called for people to go to Syria.

These teenagers mainly used encrypted messaging and video games to communicate without being detected. And what they were planning is chilling.
In their phones, investigators found conversations with young people in France and Belgium. This allowed them to dismantle this terrorist cell which everything suggests could have taken action soon.

They had searched for the components of explosive devices. But above all, they had researched Israeli embassies in France, Luxembourg and Belgium. And they seemed very interested in the one located Avenue de l’Observatoire in Uccle.
Their plan: first “shoot down and slit the throats” of the police officers present in front of the embassy. Then drop a van full of explosives against the building. Then, return armed to execute the surviving civilians.
“We must not forget that our goal is to terrorize them, there must be as much blood as possible,” wrote a teenager, reports Le Parisien. “And our target is the Jews. Killing only police officers is not effective. They know they can die on their job. But the people who work there think they live in security. (…) In any case, we will come with kalach’ afterwards.”
“The Belgian asked me to look for names of people working in this embassy in Belgium. He wanted to kill innocent people, he wanted to take hostages, he wanted someone to be blown up in a truck…” explained one of the young people while in police custody.
