The Pro model features fourteen customizable buttons. Engineers added two new side buttons and shifted the placement of the multi-function trigger to sit naturally under a player’s thumb.

The mouse introduces the HyperScroll Tilt Wheel Gen 2. This mechanical scroll wheel switches between a standard 24-step tactile mode, a precision 48-step mode for fine adjustments, and a free-spin mode without resistance.

Under the shell sits a new optical sensor capable of 50,000 DPI. The device supports an 8000Hz polling rate in both wired and wireless modes to reduce input latency. Battery performance reaches 275 hours when connected via Bluetooth and 200 hours using the 2.4GHz wireless protocol.

Pricing and Companion Accessories for the V4 Series

The Basilisk V4 Pro carries a suggested retail price of 170 dollars and includes Chroma RGB lighting integration. Razer also launched the Mouse Dock V2 Pro magnetic charging stand priced at 70 dollars.

For users seeking a lighter configuration, the Basilisk V4 HyperSpeed is priced at 110 dollars. Cool3c noted that the HyperSpeed model drops the maximum sensor resolution to 33,000 DPI and twelve customizable buttons while maintaining a battery life of 225 hours on Bluetooth and 140 hours on wireless.
