The purchase consists of four lots, and for each a separate contract will be concluded with the company that meets the requirements and offers the most economically advantageous conditions.
In order to increase competition, the number of applications from bidders is limited to two lots, and the contract will be concluded for a maximum of two lots.
The maximum total value of contracts for all four lots will be 210 million euros excluding value added tax.
The procurement procedure provides for the maintenance of streets in four districts of the capital – on the left bank of the Daugava (63.67 million euros), on the right bank of the Daugava in the Central region and Latgale suburb (53.429 million euros), on the right bank of the Daugava in the Ziemel district and Vidzeme suburb (47,768 million euros), as well as the maintenance of bridges, overpasses and pedestrian tunnels (45.133 million euros).
Street maintenance agreements are planned to be concluded for a period of up to five years.
Currently, the services of Riga’s streets are carried out on the right bank of the Daugava by Eco Baltia vide, Rīgas tilti and Ceļu pārvalde, and on the left bank by Rīgas tilti, Ceļu pārvalde and Roadeks.
