Russia: at least eleven dead leaves a “terrorist” attack on the Russian military camp in Belgorod

At least eleven people were killed and fifteen wounded on Saturday in a “terrorist” attack on a russian military training in the region of Belgradebordering Ukraine, reported the Russian Ministry of Defending.

“On October 15, at a military camp in the Uest military district in the Belgorod region, two citizens from a CIS country carried out an attack,” the ministerial statement said, referring to the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), formed by several ex-Soviet republics.

‘During a shooting training, volunteers to take part in the special military operation [de las trops rusas en Ucrania]the terrorists opened fire with automatic weapons against members of the unit,” the document details.

Suspected “terrorists” killed

According to Defense, the attackers were originally from one of the ex-Soviet countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CEI), although it did not specify which one.

“In the shooting, 11 people died. Fifteen were injured of varying severity and were taken to health facilities to be treated,” he continues.

The Ministry of Defence indicated that volunteers who expressed their desire to participate in the so-called Russian “special military operation” in Ukraine.

“The two terrorists were killed by replica shots,” he concludes.
